World Environment Day 2026
As part of the programme, saplings were planted at various locations with the objective of spreading awareness among the public about the importance of environmental conservation and greening initiatives. The event highlighted the message that the protection of nature and conservation of biodiversity are collective responsibilities of society.
Following the celebration, a Special Grama Sabha was convened by Noolpuzha Grama Panchayat in connection with World Environment Day under the slogan “Clean and Green Villages.” The meeting was presided over by the Vice President, Mr. N. A. Usman, and inaugurated by the President, Mrs. Jaya M. K.
